Our Ministries
We believe that ministry is not a coincidence. We serve others and love on purpose. Moreover, we believe in friendship, relationships and value family. Regardless of the age of the individual or family, we are here to assist in fostering a relationship with God and other members of the Household of Faith through our various ministries.
Christian Education Class
This is the class to be in if you want to dig deeper into the WORD of GOD. You can ask questions, participate in discussions with answers directly from the WORD. We provide quality materials that you take home to increase your knowledge and learn what God expects of us.
Increase your potential to be an effective witness for God. Dust off your critical thinking and find out the background of people and places on the bible. Our teachers are awesome, we have information and fun, thanks to Deacon Ken Reeves, Sr. and Deacon Monroe Rheams Sr. The class is open to anyone who wants to attend, you do NOT have to be a member of GSBC. The class is free to all. Each Monday night at 6:30 p.m.

Women's Ministry
The Women's ministry is thriving here at Greater Starlight Baptist Church! We want to honor God by using the gifts He has given each of us. Our ministry wishes to encourage Spiritual growth and personal development. Our faith needs to be nurtured through prayer and bible study, so come join us at any church activity.
The Women's Ministry general meetings are held on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. We encourage every female member of the church to join us to build stronger relationships with each other so we can live up to our full potential in Christ Jesus.
Men's Ministry
In addition to our Women's Ministry, we also have our Men's Ministry. The mission of the Men's ministry is to foster brotherhood. Just like our Women's ministry, our Men's ministry has a goal of encouraging spiritual growth and personal development.

Boys2Men Mentoring Program
As a mentoring program our main focus is to show our young men they don't have to be a statistic or be the sterotype that America has placed on them. We want to provide a positive framework and role models to help develop personal skills, ambition and teach them how to make better life long decisions.
They will learn effective problem solving and communication skills and create an awareness of the importance of education. We want to help them acknowledge their weakness and recognize their strengths in order to reach their maximum potential. Our special guest was Mr. Selvish Capers of the New York Giants. He spoke to our young men about the pressures of being a professional football Superbowl champion and how to handle them.
All young men are welcome from ages 10 - 18 years old. We meet every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the GSBC Education Center, room 205 on the 2nd floor. Under the guidance of the men of the church. Help make a difference in our community!
